SkaterGirl International is the world's first daily newspaper dedicated to womens skateboarding... It was founded with the goal of providing a voice for female skaters; a population segment that is often overlooked or ignored by the boardsports industry. Our mission as a nonprofit is not just to inspire girls through our quality coverage, is also to encourage, educate, and empower girls through participation in skateboarding.. as well as providing a platform for success for women who want to pursue careers in skateboarding or longboarding, both as professional athletes, and behind the scenes!! So.. If you’ve got any stories, events, photos or videos that you want them to be posted just get in contact and submit. Please note that this website is very specific to womens skateboarding/longboarding, please don’t send us adverts for non skate or non female related news as it will not be posted. And if is possible, send the content with the name of the person to which it belongs, so we could integrate it into the directory... You can follow us on intagram too! (@skatergirlintl) .

THE BERRICS - ALL EYES ON LETICIA BUFONI:  Over 50% of the world’s population is under the age of 30. I’m no scientist, but if you were to ask me how old most pro skateboarders were I’d guesstimate more than 50% of them were OVER the age of 30. So, what does that mean? It means in a few years, five at the most, the pros you see now will not be the pros you see in the future. The pros you see now might be your brother, your friend, your neighbor, that one dude who goes to your school and sits at lunch by himself or his friend who just got his first skateboard for Christmas from Walmart. It might be you. It also means because we know where the world is heading we couldn’t say no to MikeMo and his brother Vince, owners of Glassy, when they came to us with their idea to create a section on the Berrics where they could introduce young skaters to the world before they got to a level of having things like a Bangin, a Recruit, skate in BATB, or before they’re even out of school or fully sponsored. They wanted a section to let you know who their eyes were on so that when they become the pro of today, they were the ones who told you first. This month, their eyes are on Leticia Bufoni.

Check out Wonder Woman as she does her amazing spin thing to swap into her skateboard outfit (basically the same as her normal outfit plus she wears a bright red helmet and knee and arm pads) and then chases down some bad dudes with some pretty nifty (and very fast) skateboarding!!
