SkaterGirl International is the world's first daily newspaper dedicated to womens skateboarding... It was founded with the goal of providing a voice for female skaters; a population segment that is often overlooked or ignored by the boardsports industry. Our mission as a nonprofit is not just to inspire girls through our quality coverage, is also to encourage, educate, and empower girls through participation in skateboarding.. as well as providing a platform for success for women who want to pursue careers in skateboarding or longboarding, both as professional athletes, and behind the scenes!! So.. If you’ve got any stories, events, photos or videos that you want them to be posted just get in contact and submit. Please note that this website is very specific to womens skateboarding/longboarding, please don’t send us adverts for non skate or non female related news as it will not be posted. Check out Wonder Woman as she does her amazing spin thing to swap into her skateboard outfit (basically the same as her normal outfit plus she wears a bright red helmet and knee and arm pads) and then chases down some bad dudes with some pretty nifty (and very fast) skateboarding!!

UK rippers Helena Long (Vans), Danni Gallacher (White Trash) and Emma Richardson (Spread Eagle) met up on a sunny March day to skate some parks and spots in Sheffield. A fun day and some great skating. Bring on the Summer!

Who knew Irina Shayk was a Skater Girl? 

Just happened to be surfing The Daily Mail newspaper when what did I see? Pictures of Irina Shayk (that’s Ronaldo the football players girlfriend) clutching a few skateboards!! Now call it a hunch but I don’t think she actually skates them?! Ha ha – no they were actually part of a new campaign for Spanish clothing label Blanco. Maybe this can be a new part of the website: Celebrity Skaters? From now on, if anyone sees a picture of a celeb with a skateboard, let us know!
